Your first steps into Wilton House present you with a warm welcome with a view that makes you feel like you are sitting on top of the clouds. The three massive, floor-to-vaulted-ceiling-sized windows showcase the wonderland you are sitting above. It is breathtaking. The wood beams throughout the living room, kitchen, dining room and master bedroom add to the elegance of this home. The arched doorways, hardwoods throughout and carpeted bedrooms make this home luxurious and comfortable for your family. The large, open Living Room serves up jaw-dropping views with plenty of seating options, a gas fireplace and flat-screen TV – but, who needs it with a view like this! There is a door to access the upper deck with outdoor seating and a built-in gas grill. The spacious kitchen has an impressive Viking Professional range with 6 burners and a grill. The large refrigerator has two refrigerated drawers and an identically sized freezer with 2 drawers. This kitchen also has two dishwashers, a large island, counter seating, a butler's pantry with a wet bar, beverage refrigerator, and wine cooler. This is a kitchen intended for a large group to enjoy. The views extend the length of the kitchen, with another door to the lovely deck on the main level. Off the kitchen, you will find a gorgeous breakfast room with seating for six, soothing blue wallpaper and decorative glass windows. It is a bright, lovely space to enjoy breakfast or a cup of tea. Down the hallway is the formal dining room with seating for 10 people. Grand windows overlook a grove of aspen trees and a large map of Paris gives it just the right elegant touch. On the opposite wing of the main level, you will find a powder room with playful, bird wallpaper. Adjacent to the master suite is a perfect office with built-in shelves, a stunning view, stained glass window sliding doors for privacy and calming wallpaper. It may become your favorite hideaway. The anchor of the home is the master bedroom suite. A large commanding room with cathedral, wood-beamed ceilings and more of those massive windows with outstanding views. It boasts a sitting area, four-post king bed, and double-sided walk-in closets. The master bathroom has dual sinks, a separate w.c., jet tub, shower and a private workout room with a pilates reformer, bands, weights and more. You will find a large laundry room with access to the garage on the main level. Down the stairs to the lower level you will find four additional bedrooms, a large living area with a bar, pool table and sweeping views, access to the large deck with dining table and hot tub, plus the sauna. The downstairs den features a gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, plentiful comfortable seating and a view to die for. Get a game of billiards in or belly up to the built-in bar for a night of revelry. SKI ACCESS: This home is located 9.3 miles from the skier parking lot at Arrowhead, 13 miles from the parking garage at Beaver Creek and 21.4 miles from the parking garage at Vail. Guests will need to drive and park in one of the designated skier parking areas to access the slopes. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
