The Local Registrar operates the Vital Records Department and is a Local Issuance Office authorized by the Minnesota Department of Health;s Office of Vital Records. This department issues certified copies of Birth and Death Records. In addition, the department is responsible for Marriage Licenses and Certificates, Ordination Credential Registration, Notary Commission Filing and is the authorized repository for Military Discharge Records.
