Gus has grown up fishing in Wisconsin’s Vilas and Oneida counties since he was 7 years old. Of all the fish this region has to offer he has landed on the top predator of the northwoods food chain - the infamous musky. Although Gus is new to the guiding game he is no stranger to hooking in to these phantom fish on the regular. In the last two years he has had 180+ muskies boated - many in the 40+ inch category, 26 and counting lakes that he’s boated fish on, 2nd place in the National Championship Musky Open in 2021, and an 8th place finish in a professional musky tournament trail event in 2022. He is knowledge filled and loves to teach new and seasoned anglers everything about muskies. He is a charismatic, young fisherman that you’ll be sure to have a great time with!
