The TriParishes of St. Joseph in Grosse Tete, Immaculate Heart of Mary in Maringouin, and St. Frances Xavier Cabrini in Livonia are three linked parishes along Bayou Grosse Tete. They are part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge. While they were clustered in 2006, the Catholic Church has provided ministry in the area since 1864.
