Hello, I’m Marguerita, and I am a licensed hairstylist in Memphis, TN. I love to modernize classic looks to make them fun and wearable for the woman on the go. I attend numerous continuing-education classes each year, so I can always be knowledgeable of the best and healthiest techniques to use. I enjoy working with clients to create unique looks that they feel great in.

From blunt bobs dyed dark to long knotless braids. At a young age, I learned how to create natural protective styles to help the single mothers in the southside area of Memphis, TN. I have learned how to take care of natural hair, free from damage; while maintaining the health of each scalp. While, I was on the path towards an administration career, I decided to purse my true purpose: beauty; while working and raising 3 young men as a single parent, I pursued my passion at New Wave Hair Academy.

Upon graduating, I developed my career under the creative stylist of Nappy Hutt, Shawntel Waajid from Savanah, GA. My education background led me to one of the most sought out stylist in Jacksonville, FL, Rhonda Robinson (The Weave Genius), and the James Wealthy Systems of Brows & Lashes. Today, I credit my wide-ranging knowledge and education as the key to my success.

My analytical skills, innate creativity, and focus on the customer experience consistently result in thoughtfully crafted, perfectly tailored to every one of my clients. When I’m not creating styles, I enjoy watching movies, game night with family/friends, or just enjoying a romantic getaway with my husband. One of my favorite shows is “Charmed”. I love watching any type of horror movie, but sometimes I will kick back and watch a good romantic love story like “The Notebook”.
