The official site of the Downtown New York City Branch of Shorinji Kempo, a not-for-profit organization affiliated with the World Shorinji Kempo Organization (WSKO) in Japan. Shorinji Kempo (少林寺拳法) is a distinctive technical method founded in Japan in 1947. Defense is primary and can be acquired regardless of physical stature or muscular strength.
