Poor Clare Monastery of Our Lady of Guadalupe - Roswell, NM

The Poor Clare Monastery of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Roswell, New Mexico, was founded in 1948 and observes the Primitive Rule of St. Clare of Assisi, according to the reforms established by St. Colette of Corbie. It currently has a vibrant, faith-filled community of 25 nuns/postulants/novices ranging in age from 25-86. We rejoice in our fidelity to the ideals of St. Francis and St. Clare, living in poverty, chastity, and obedience, and professing a fourth vow of enclosure.
