POCOSIN ARTS SCHOOL OF FINE CRAFT and Contemporary Craft Gallery offers opportunities for discovery, creativity and lifelong learning in the arts. Located in Columbia, near the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the school provides year-round craft workshops in metals and jewelry, ceramics, drawing, painting, textiles, books, wood and digital fabrication. The school also hosts artist residencies and offers weekly community and youth classes. Resident artists whose studios overlook the gallery greet visitors to the Main Street Gallery and studios. The Gallery features and sells their work, the work of former resident artists from around the country and also features rotating contemporary craft exhibitions. Pocosin Arts is a “gem” in Eastern North Carolina.
