Dr. Larry Altschul began his practice in cardiology in 1982. He is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo school of medicine and received his medical and cardiology training at Nassau County Medical Center. He is currently Chief of Cardiology at Good Samaritan University Hospital Medical Center (since 2000) and co-Managing Director of South Bay Cardiovascular Associates out of St. Francis Hospital but located in West Islip.
