Konstantinos Kossidas, M.D. - St. Luke's Hospital

Konstantinos Kossidas, MD, is a board-certiifed cardiac electrophysiologist at St. Louis Electrophysiologists Specialists of St. Luke's. Dr. Kossidas specializes in performing complex ablations for heart rhythm disorders including atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmias. He was trained by pioneers in the field of electrophysiology during his fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Kossidas earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Athens Medical School in Athens, Greece. Following his internal medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY, he was accepted as a T-32 reserach fellow at the Cardiovascular Research Center of Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University. Subsequently he underwent specialty training in Cardiology at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, and Cardiac Electrophysiology at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Dr. Kossidas has authored and reviewed multiple scientific manuscripts and book chapters in the field of cardiology and electrophysiology. Dr. Kossidas works closely with patients to ensure they make the most informed clinical decisions possible. He strongly believes in personalized medicine, with close attention to each patient's values. He performs all procedures with expert precision and attention to safety. In his free time, Dr. Kossidas enjoys traveling and outdoors activities including hiking and triathlons. He was a finisher in the 2014 Texas Ironman triathlon.  Dr. Kossidas offers services in English and Greek.
