Karen Ezelle, OD, practices optometry for patients ages four and older at WK Eye Institute South. A native of Shreveport and a graduate of Caddo Magnet High School, Dr. Ezelle went on to graduate cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. There she conducted research under the guidance of Dr. Cory Toyota and is published in the Journal of Bacteriology. Next she earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
