Patrick Henry is a rare find, a true native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Like so many, he is drawn to the open ocean, bays and marshes of the area, but his heritage allows him to portray these scenes with an insight that is beautiful to behold. Growing up near Assateague Island National Seashore and Ocean City, he is an interpreter of both the natural and cultural heritage and beauty. Patrick Henry paints the African American experience both historically and currently.
