The Haggen Family Emergency and Trauma Center is a 48-bed Level II Trauma Center. This means our board-certified emergency physicians can care for injured patients 24 hours a day. Anyone experiencing trauma, medical problems, emergent or non-urgent needs receives the best trauma care possible. Injury Prevention Education to prevent injuries is important. We work with organizations like Washington State Department of Health, North Region EMS and Trauma Care Council, and SafeKids Whatcom County to provide community programs including:
