City of Rochester | Genesee Valley Park
A favorite spot for golfers, kayakers, and cross-country skiers, Genesee Valley Park is one of the oldest parks in the area. It was designed by famed landscape architect, Frederic Law Olmsted. Olmsted highlighted the the naturally occurring, rolling pastoral fields of the area when he planned the 800+ acre park.
