Farris Jackson Jr., MD, FCCP, is a board-certified pulmonologist at Cardio-Pulmonary Associates. After graduation from Harvard College, he received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, completed his residency in internal medicine at Medical College of Virginia Hospital and his fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Jackson has over 25 years of experience and a strong interest in both hospital-based and office-based pulmonary and sleep medicine. He has particular interests in COPD, asthma, lung cancer and interstitial lung disease. Dr. Jackson provides high quality and compassionate care to all his patients and emphasizes the importance of dialogue, so patients can better understand their pulmonary condition and treatments. This knowledge will enhance their ability to take part in healthier lifestyles.
