Dr. Oakman is board certified in gynecology and obstetrics. She received her medical degree from The George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences and completed her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Oakman is facilitator of CenteringPregnancy®️, a nationally recognized model of group prenatal care shown to improve a wide range of birth outcomes. She grew up in Cambridge, MA. She was a nationally ranked synchronize swimmer. In her down time, she enjoys traveling internationally, baking, swimming and spending time with her family of two beautiful children, husband and dog.
