Edward Lundy, M.D., Ph.D., joined the St. Francis Hospital Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery on September 3, 2013. He was the first surgeon to implant an LVAD in Nassau County. Prior to joining St. Francis, Dr. Lundy was Chief of the Active International Cardiovascular Institute at Good Samaritan University Hospital in Suffern, New York. He was also Chief of the section of Cardiac Surgery and Director of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
