Lindsey Hoffman, DO, MS, specializes in pediatric neuro-oncology. She serves as director of both the Cancer Predisposition Program and the Neuro-Oncology Program at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Hoffman was drawn to work at Phoenix Children's because of the diverse patient population the hospital serves. After earning a Master of Science degree in Human Genetics from Tulane University in New Orleans, Dr. Hoffman went on to obtain a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences in Kansas City. She holds board certifications in both general pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology through the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Hoffman is a member of numerous professional affiliations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and Society of Neuro-Oncology. She serves as Chair of the International DIPG/DMG Registry and Co-Chair for the Response Assessment in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology (RAPNO) Committee. To further her field, Dr. Hoffman is heavily involved in research that centers around improving the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancer. She has authored numerous publications, including book chapters, articles and peer-reviewed abstracts and has presented at multiple regional, national and international conferences. Dr. Hoffman provides personalized, evidence-based care. She collaborates with her patients and their families to implement a plan that serves them best. Outside her practice, Dr. Hoffman volunteers with the "Feed My Starving Children" organization. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities and traveling with her children.
