Kelly A. Benedict, MD, values the opportunity to build relationships with her patients and their families. As a pediatric nephrologist, she stays in close contact with patients dealing with chronic conditions such as hypertension, chronic kidney disease, dialysis and kidney transplant.Passionate about getting to know her patients and their families, Dr. Benedict says she strives to ensure that "patients and families leave their visit with the feeling that we heard and addressed their concerns."A graduate of the University of Arizona School of Medicine, Dr. Benedict completed her residency at University of California Los Angeles. She completed fellowships in pediatric nephrology at State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University and University of California San Francisco. Born and raised in the Phoenix area, she is excited to be home again.Outside of work, Dr. Benedict enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also likes to run and ski.
