Description

Columbia Spring

The Columbia Spring property is situated on 117 acres in the community of Santa Fe, Tennessee, 10 minutes from downtown Columbia and 40 minutes from Nashville. The historic home at Columbia Spring was built in 1902 with the farm in continuous operation for 200 years. The “Mule Barn” was built immediately following the Civil War and still remains in exceptional condition, along with 9 other structures that have been diligently preserved for more than a century. The signature feature of Columbia Spring is a rock house over a natural spring that flows through the property. The spring house is documented as early as 1822 in a handwritten deed noting the property bounds extend from “the water of Leipers Fork of Harpeth ... to the ‘House of Spring’ where Charles White now lives.” The mission of the Columbia Spring venture is to preserve the historical, agricultural character of the property while pursuing a diverse set of revenue streams that allow for a protected return on investment.
