Brittany Dixon, MD, is board-certified cardiologist at Heart Health Specialists. Dr. Dixon earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her internal medicine residency from Duke University Hospital. She completed her cardiology fellowship and pursued additional advanced imaging training at Barnes Jewish Hospital -Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Dixon is an expert in the treatment and long-term management of many types of heart conditions. Her clinical interests include valvular heart disease and structural heart interventions.  She has extensive experience in performing cardiovascular imaging studies and utilizes advanced technology to capture images of the heart which allows her to make accurate diagnoses and determine the best options for each of her patients.  Dr. Dixon emphasizes prevention with her patients, and promotes risk reductions through healthy lifestyle change. Her goal is to educate and empower her patients so they can understand their health issues and be actively involved in creating their healthcare plan. Dr. Dixon is accepting new cardiology patients.
