Bolan, Iowa is a small town in northern Iowa. Worth County, Barton Township's only village was platted in 1886. In 1986 for its Centennial celebration, the first-ever-to-be-known STAND STILL PARADE was held. In 1989 the entire population of 16 were guests on Late Night with David Letterman.
