Alaina Payne, MD - Roper St. Francis Healthcare

Dr. Alaina Payne is part of the Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care team. Dr. Payne earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program. A daughter of a Navy Corpsman, she always knew that she wanted to be a doctor. As a child, her father let her take his stethoscope and other medical equipment to show-and-tell. She’s happy that she never veered from that path, because helping her patients “live their best life” brings her joy. Dr. Payne is board certified in family medicine. She’s passionate about practicing with dignity and respect to help patients live healthy and productive lives. When she isn’t at work, Dr. Payne loves to try new foods with her husband, spend time with her rescue dogs, run and work in the garden.
