Mario Voloshin, DPM, FACFAS, is a Board Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon who graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed one of the very few four-year Podiatric surgical residencies in the country at New York Hospital Queens, a member of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System and affiliate of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He acquired his surgical skills through extensive training with various Podiatric and Foot & Ankle Orthopedic surgeons. In his final year of residency, Dr. Voloshin served as Chief Resident and continued to hone his surgical skills, specifically in the areas of sports medicine and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. In addition to providing podiatric expertise to his patients, he works very closely with other medical specialties to prevent further complications that develop in patients who have diabetes, immunosuppressive illnesses, neurological manifestations, and various forms of arthritis.
